Lu’an Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Inspur

  Lu'an Municipal People's Government signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Inspur Group on December 29, 2017. Afore the signing, the two sides discussed development of high and new technology industry, promotion of the development of information industry and smart Lu'an in terms of cloud computing, big data and smart city.
  Wang Baihua, executive president and CTO of the group, Chen Jiaben, executive vice mayor of Lu’an attended the ceremony. Vice Mayor Shu Xuelong signed the agreement on behalf of Lu’an City with Cheng Liangming who is general manager for Anhui of Inspur.
  In his speech, Chen Jiaben praised that Inspur is the earliest famous IT brand in China that features cutting-edge technology and strong power in development. It leads the Chinese IT industry and satisfies the needs of governments and enterprises for informatization.
  Chen said that he hopes the two sides could push forward the development of IT industry of Lu’an in the strategic cooperation, promote the transformation and upgrading of the Lu’an industrial structure, accelerate the building of the operation, management and service systems for the smart Lu'an construction, and comprehensively promote and speed up the development of cloud computing, big data, and smart city.
  The executive vice mayor pledged convenience for the completion of projects. He said that Lu’an would adhere to the merchant-friendly philosophy to secure, activate and benefit them. “We will create best development climate and join hands with Inspur to make the local base of digital economy and industry with Lu’an characteristics. In a word, we will jointly write a new chapter of mutual benefit and win-win development,” he added.
  Wang Baihua introduced the history of Inspur Group and the development plan in Lu'an. He said Inspur would invest 500 million yuan in Lu'an for a cloud computing center, a big data operation center, a shared and exchange platform of government data, a platform for industry and Internet, and an operation center for smart city construction. In addition, the group would create an industry chain for cloud computing, big data and smart city to push forward the transfer of the dynamics of the city from the old to the new and assist the economic development of Lu’an.
