31 Projects Signed on World Manufacturing Convention

  Information from the Municipal Commerce Bureau indicates that on the World Manufacturing Convention, our city has seen fruitful results in attracting enterprises and investments. By signing 31 projects during the Convention, the total investment value reached 16.44 billion yuan. Among these projects, 4 are with the central government, contributing 3.316 billion yuan of investment; 10 with private companies, contributing 10.94 billion yuan; 6 with Hong Kong and Macau enterprises, contributing 1.059 billion yuan; 5 with foreign enterprises, contributing 360 million yuan; 5 with Taiwan enterprises, contributing 615 million yuan; and 1 with overseas Chinese enterprise, contributing 150 million yuan. A total of 18 projects were involved in the concentrated signing event called “600 Projects” and achieved the investment of 11.819 billion yuan, among which, 1 project has the investment level of 10 billion yuan.

  During the convention, the representatives from our city delegation participated in 16 significant events including the leaders’ tour visit, opening ceremony, keynote speech, project briefing, concentrated signing, etc. There are 6 seminars and the topics include: integrated development of cross-boundary e-commerce and manufacture, development of private manufacturers in China, innovation-driven manufacture and high-quality services, etc. There are 6 project briefing events with transnational enterprises and those from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Region and owned by overseas Chinese actively participating. Sixty-six companies including Yingliu Group, Jiangji Machine, Jianghuai Motor, Cool Baby, Yingjia Group attended the fair in 5 zones featuring respectively on intelligent manufacture, high-end manufacture, green manufacture, service-oriented manufacture and commodity trade. High-end manufactured products like numerical control machine, intelligent device, robots, and featured agricultural products related to biomedicine, aerospace, and organic food are shown in the fair.
