Lu’an is the National Land Transportation Hub City. It is 60km from Hefei, and it takes 28 minutes by high speed rail and 50 minutes drive by highway from there to Hefei. The feasibility study plan on Lu’an- Xinqiao Airport-Hefei Intercity High Speed Rail with designed speed 350km/hour is being deepened; the plan of Hefei-Lu’an City (Suburb) Railway with total length 65.7 km is speeding up and the construction of Hefei-Lu’an nan Passage is speeding up.
Airway: It is only 30 minutes drive from Hefei Xinqiao International Airport to Lu’an city. Currently, there are 13 international direct flights to Germany, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan of China, Macao of China, Hong Kong of China etc.
Railway: The 4 railways, including Hejiu, Ningxi, Hurong and Fulu, pass across the border,Hefei-Wuhan Section of hgh-speed railway along the Yangtze River is under the compilation of feasible research. 3.5 hours directly to Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo in the east, 1.5 hours directly to Wuhan and 8 hours directly to Chengdu in the west, 5 hours directly to Beijing, Tianjin and Qingdao in the north, 6 hours directly to Guangzhou and 7 hours to Hong Kong in the south. The railway has a mileage of 336 kilometers, with nearly 90 trains passing and starting.
Highway: Lu'an is the national city of highway transport hub. Four national backbone expressways, including Jiguang, Hushan, Hurong and Jingtai, converge here. Seven national highways, including 312, 105, 206, 237, 328, 346 and 529, and more than 20 provincial highways pass through here, with a mileage of 20,058 kilometers.
