The hillocky land is located in the center of Lu'an, lager than hilly land, covering an area of 6.039 mu and accounting for 22.4% of the total area of Lu'an. The altitude is between 50 to 100 meters above sea level. The remarkable topographical feature of this land is that the hillocks here are platform like with slopes of altitude differences between 10 tand 20 meters. The high hills were covered with the residual soils weathered from the tertiary reddish purple gravels and the red conglomerate. The low hills are covered with yellow residual soil eroded by flood.
